SCHOLARSHIP

In memory of two dedicated members of our department, Clay County Professional Firefighters Local 3362 offers an annual scholarship to support the next generation of fire and EMS professionals.

Wager–Whitfield Memorial Scholarship

The Clay County Professional Firefighters are proud to offer the Wager-Whitfield Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is offered in memory of FF Reid Wager and Captain Steve Whitfield and is designed to assist Clay County High School students who wish to pursue a course of study and/or career in the FIRE/EMS field.

Proudly funded by the Clay County Professional Firefighters Local Union 3362, it is our goal to give back to the educational community and assist with the advancement of young minds who wish to move on and protect their community. Clay County Professional Firefighters will be providing up to $1500.00 (depending on number of applicants) towards qualifying tuition expenses.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Clay County High School attendee
  • 2.5 Cumulative GPA
  • Currently a Senior or Completing Junior Year
